Manchester United Partnership

Manchester United Foundation work with over 30 schools across the Greater Manchester area.  This will be their first partnership with a school from further afield.  Their School Partnership Officer, Martin Smith, has been appointed to work with the Foundation and with Oakgrove Integrated College to engage and inspire young people through developing a range of personal qualities and life skills.

Martin’s work will focus on Personal Development, Leadership Skills, Physical and Mental Wellbeing, Employability and social skills.

 

Martin will work primarily with students in Oakgrove but also with partner primary schools.  He will work to smooth the transition to secondary school for those pupils and to give them the skills to develop as positive role models in their community.

We use football to engage and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves and unite the communities in which they live.

Dedicated staff deliver educational and community outreach programmes to help young people make positive choices in their lives.
